Grass Parking Reinforcement Mesh

Grassmesh is a semi permeant or permeant roll out plastic mesh. It uses the combined strength of the grass intertwined with the extruded plastic to create a strong reinforced surface. Allows the grass to grow through the mesh, maintaining the visually aesthetic appeal of the grassy area.

Description

A roll out plastic mesh specifically designed to reinforce grass areas without spoiling the natural look of the area. Can be applied to already grassed areas or areas to be seeded.

The strength comes from the grass and mesh interlocking with one another, thus creating and usable surface avoiding rutting and damaged. As the grass grows the mesh becomes less visible, leaving the area looking as it once was, but much more useful!

Key Features

  • Ground reinforcement
  • Anti-slip surface
  • Cost saving opposed to paved surface
  • Allows moisture to drain through
  • Leaves the site in keeping with the area
  • Provides overflow parking solution
  • Can be laid to any shape
  • Prevents soil compaction

Installation (Removal is the opposite procedure)

Manual Handling
The Grassmesh installation is an easy and straightforward process when followed correctly.

Handling
Each roll of mesh will arrive with steel U-pins which are used to peg the matting into the ground. The pins are placed in between the grooves of the mesh, spread evenly across the whole roll. We recommend the best way of installing the pins into the mesh, is via a hammer or mallet.

Connecting Mats
Once the mesh has been laid, and the pins have been fitted into the ground, securing the mesh to the grass, it is then important that you allow time for the grass to grow through. We recommend no traffic on the mesh for 3-4 weeks, to fully enable the grass to grow through.

Once this period has finished, the Grassmesh will have become invisible, providing a strong core to the ground enabling pedestrians, buggies and vehicles to track over.
